Trying out new designs from the regency era

Trying out new designs from the regency era

3rd Jun 2019

This week I have been working on some new patterns. I particularly love the pelisse " A pelisse was originally a short fur trimmed jacket that was usually worn hanging loose over the left shoulder of hussar light cavalry soldiers, ostensibly to prevent sword cuts. The name was also applied to a fashionable style of woman's coat worn in the early 19th century" (wiki).

I've tried the jacket in cotton and wool felt and I'm looking forward to using different fabrics (and colours!)
