Designed in a soft shabby chic style, this printable kit allows you to create a beautifully detailed two-tier sewing box filled with tiny haberdashery items. It’s a rewarding make and a lovely display piece for any miniature setting.
The box features a removable lid and opens to reveal a sectioned upper tray containing miniature notions such as a pin box, button cards, needle packs and cotton reels. Lift the tray to discover even more details below, including additional haberdashery cards, a ribbon reel, press stud card and a dressmaking pattern. It also has a floral backing sheet to enhance your mini products.
There are plenty of opportunities to personalise your finished piece. You can enhance it with your own trims – for example, wrapping real thread around the reels, adding tiny buttons (such as nail art) to the button cards, or using fine ribbon for the ribbon reel. (These extras are not included in the kit.)
